PiCKiE started the same way a lot of great ideas do: with a weird habit that never went away.
One of our founders grew up drinking pickle juice straight from the jar. Not because it was trendy. Not because it was a “hydration hack.” He just loved the taste — salty, crisp, and refreshing.
Years later, we realized something: pickle juice had a cult following, but the products on the market still did not feel good enough. Some were too harsh. Some tasted artificial. Some felt more like a gimmick than something you would actually want to drink.
So we set out to make something better.
As a team, led by our chemical engineer co-founder, we spent months perfecting PiCKiE through 500+ taste-test variations, dialing in the balance of real cucumber, fresh dill, vinegar, sea salt, spices, and electrolytes until it tasted like the crisp dill pickle drink we always wished existed.
And the rest of us believed in it from the beginning — because we knew there were other pickle lovers out there who wanted something different from another overly sweet sports drink.
Today, PiCKiE is built by a small team of friends who care deeply about making the best possible product. We are still early, still improving, and still listening. Every bottle, every batch, and every piece of feedback matters to us.
